Events at The house

We like to think of The House Vineu as the kind of home you and your friends would hang out at back in the day.  Whether its just you and a friend or a few of your friends, you can always find something to do.  From grabbing a cup of coffee and a delicious pastry and finding a quiet space to read a book or work on an assignment during cafe hours, to meeting up with a friend or business partner to talk or collaborate on a project over drinks, The House has the perfect setting. In fact, we believe The House could be perfect hangout spot for almost any occasion.  Most of all, its a place of relaxation, comfort and connection.

For The House Vineu, hospitality is about creating a personal experience, so we carved out a beautiful event space, with a quaint little cafe' and relaxed seating in the lounge, a stage area, coffee/wine/full bar, with plenty of space in the venue to socialize. We are always cooking up events at The House for our members to enjoy.  See descriptions of upcoming events or check out our events calendar below.

Our fancy drapes and chandeliers with warm yet industrial finishes decorate our modern and open event space, which can host up to 100 people. While we curate our own events here quite frequently, we also make it available to our members to rent out for their own private parties. We’ll work with you to get the furniture setup the way you want, so whether you’re celebrating a golden jubilee or setting up a small business training, your event will go off without a hitch, with the help of our event designer and director.

Located in the front of The House we have a few seating areas with several flat screens for game night.  In the our bar and main lounge area, we have a small stage for intimate music shows, spoken word events, and even performance art. Our café is also home to drawing jams, painting parties, book clubs, and writer’s evenings. There is also additional space in the back where we house several different board games that our members can play.  There is also a small kitchen in the back where a lot of the magic happens for our special events. This venue have an understated urban vibe that stays true to The House's overall aesthetic.
